ESCARPMENT VINEYARD Albuquerque, New Mexico Completed 2024 The Robb House, designed in the '50s by my mentor Don Schlegel, required massive restoration, expansion, and adaptation for the new owners, including solar upgrades—while totally respecting Don's original intentions. He ignited my flame in architecture and it never would have happened without him. Apart from my respect and devotion to Don, he was a widely recognized force in architectural education, while keeping his architectural practice flourishing through decades. Impossible to fully express my debt to him. He gave his blessing to our renovation.
